Cream Cheese-filled Buns

For the buns
1/4 cup tepid water
21/4 tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp + 1 tsp sugar
4 cups all purpose flour
11/4 tsp salt
30g butter, softened
11/4 cups milk + 2 tbsp
1 egg


For the Cream Cheese Filling
100g cream cheese, softened
50g icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
