Chicken Tenders Recipe



Ingredients
1 chicken breast, sliced in 1 ½ inch strips
1 cup all-purpose flour + 2 cups additional
1 cup milk
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. ground oregano
½ tsp. ground turmeric (optional)

Procedure
1. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ground oregano and ground turmeric. Mix well.
2. In a large bowl combine flour with salt and pepper seasoning, add milk and vinegar. Whisk until you get consistency of pancake batter.
3. Add chicken to batter and let sit for 5 minutes.
4. In a separate bowl, add 1 cup of flour. Take a few strips add them to dry flour and cover strip completely. Continue processes until all tenders are floured, using more dry flour when needed.
5. Place tenders on a plate or baking sheet and let dry for 5 minutes.
6. Meanwhile heat 1 inch of cooking oil, when oil is hot, cook tenders until golden.
7. Place tenders in a strainer (don’t place tenders on paper towel so they won’t get soggy). Season with a little bit of salt.
8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
